Inspiron 3650, random dropout of the music

Hi,

I have my Dell Inspiron 3650 Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40Hz 16GB RAM connected to my Denon 2300 AVR with a HDMI cable from the graphics card.

When playing audio, my main source is iTunes with lossless files I get random dropout of the music - I have also tried playing the same files through VLC player and the same thing happens. It also happens if I play a cd from the desktop. I have downloaded all the new drivers.

I looked up task manager and saw the following info:- CPU 5%, Memory 38% Disk 4% when the computer is "idle" and CPU 9%, Memory 38% Disk 4%when iTunes is playing.

I was hoping to use my desktop as my means for playing digital music but is very distracting with the dropouts.
